Hedgården is an old farm where Margareta and Lars-Erik lives. The farm have a very long history. The turn of the century house have been renovated thru the years with the history in mind. Always with the rural and historical touch. In the house you will find small detalils, furniture and things that several generations have been used.
Since the 90s have several guest from all over the world visited us and many still do. You will find the farm some kilometers outside the center of Älvdalen. We will be happy to guide you to the tourist attractions in the area and of course the nature. Älvdalen have alot of roads in the forest. Lars-Erik knows almost everything about the area so don´t hesitate to ask him.

The old cottage on the farm where we today will make the local bread called 'Kavelgris' (flat bread). In the 18th century the cottage where used by a family.
The old owen is used for baking flat bread. We are all generations of the family gathered together but some of us is loning for the pizza that we make after.
A cozy place for all of the family and of course our guests.
A fireplace is nice when the it´s cold outside.
